Anil Gaikwad

Painter | India

Born in 1969

« My Canvas are just a reflection of experiences of my life. They become just like a mirror to me through which I Look at myself.. »

Anil Gaikwad Born in 1969, His educational background is Undergraduate Work. Since 1997 he is based in Bhopal India. “My paintings are glimpses of life on the canvas, out of the canvas. These are just a reflection of experiences of my life. They become just like a mirror to me through which I Look at myself. The sensitivity in the behaviour with others synthesizes my feeling in the paintings. Through them, I visualize the meaning of life. Life itself is a work of art through which unconsciously the painting appears. The different aspects of life provoke me to evolve them and I become like a medium for them, through which they appear in different forms in a series”. His works stand out for his original conceptualization, which is a blend of visual language and poetry with a fine balance of monochromatic hues. His imagination and minimalistic approach with colours lend his large paintings a mesmerizing visual vocabulary that draws the viewer into a deep tranquil. The artist's complete submission to his canvas is revealed in all his works. Every work of Anil evokes a sublime feeling and they find their existence and space amid a massive outpour of varied art collections. Even though the painter seems to be infatuated and lost in his works in a silent struggle, one cannot miss the abundant energy and restlessness of this eminent abstract artist.
